What does participation involve?

Participation can involve a variety of different formats and methods. You may be invited to join to a small group discussion, a one to one session or with a family member or friend. These sessions are sometimes face to face or may take place via a video call using Zoom or Teams.

During the session you will be asked to share your experiences, views and opinions and may be shown some visuals or even asked to handle a prototype. You will never be asked to trial any medication.

Sessions can vary in length dependent on the goals of the research and this will be clearly detailed to you in initial communication, during your screening call and in your confirmation call.

We understand that participation in research studies (even more so those of a healthcare nature) can be a daunting task. We therefore ensure that all participants understand what to expect and are fully informed throughout the entire process. Our team works diligently to provide a comfortable safe space for participants whether you are attending a face to face studies or remote via video call. block.
Will I get paid to take part?

You will receive a financial gift for taking part in any research study as a thank you for your contribution to the research which will be referred to as an incentive.

The amount will be dependent on a number of factors and will be clearly detailed to you in initial communication, during your screening call and in your confirmation call.

These incentives are intended as a thank you but also to compensate you for your time and should not impact any benefits received.
Will my views be anonymous?

Yes. When our clients conduct research they have to abide by specific rules and guidelines. Anonymity and participant welfare are at the heart of these guidelines. The end client will not receive any identifiable personal data unless you have provided your specific consent for this to be shared along exactly what, why and to whom it would be shared with.
How do you determine who is selected to take part?

Once you have registered to be part of our panel, you will be contacted when a study comes up that might be of interest to you.

We will share details of the study including the subject matter, availability of sessions, the incentive amount you will receive and how you will receive it.

If you then choose to apply for the research, you will answer a short survey to determine your suitability for the study. Unfortunately we are unable to share full details of the criteria with you for validation purposes.

If you look like you meet the full criteria for what we are looking for, you would then receive a call from one of our team who will need to run through the questions again with you and get you booked in to take part in a session.

As we have specific quotas to meet for each study, you may meet the criteria for a group we have already filled. Hopefully you will be successful with another study.
